In eight years, 98 million bills were paid through eFAWATEERcom to both government and non-governmental entities, including those involved in water, electricity, and telecommunications, in addition to syndicates and e-commerce services, the data shows.

Over the past two years, during the COVID-19 pandemic, more and more people started resorting to eFAWATEERcom and e-services, leading different sectors to provide more online services to collect payment.

eFAWATEERcom is supervised by the Jordan Central Bank. It connects banks operating in Jordan with bill-based entities (electricity, water, telecommunication companies). People can pay their bills through several channels, including ATMs, internet banking, and cell phone.
