AMMAN — The
volume of funding for the
Jordan Response Platform for the Syria Crisis (JRPSC)
for the first quarter of this year amounted to $189 million, only 8.3 percent
of the $2.28 billion pledged according
to the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, as reported by
Al-Mamlaka TV.

According to the ministry’s data, the plan’s
funding for the first quarter of this year was allocated as follows; $62.457
million to fund the requirements of refugee support, and $39.307 million for
supporting host communities.
$1.240 million went to support projects
related to responding to the pandemic, and $86 million was allocated to
supporting infrastructure projects and institutional capacity development.
According to the same data “no funding has
been provided to date to support the state budget.”
