AMMAN — Joramco, an Amman-based
maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider has signed its first
maintenance agreement with GetJet Airlines, a Lithuania-based airline company,
both parties announced in a joint press statement on Monday.

Joramco, the engineering arm of Dubai
Aerospace Enterprise, and GetJet Airlines began their partnership in June with
the successful maintenance of one of GetJet’s A320 aircraft and a comprehensive
C check of a GetJet A330 in July.
GetJet Airlines offers charter services for
several international airlines, including LOT
Polish Airlines, Wizz Air, Finnair, Air Malta, Tunisair, and others, the
statement read.
Joramco CEO Jeff Wilkinson,
speaking on the occasion, said the agreement “further solidifies our leading
position in the market and is a testament to the ... work being done on the
ground at Joramco’s facilities.” He added that the MRO provider was looking forward
to building a fruitful, long-term partnership with the airline.
For his part, GetJet Airlines CEO
Darious Viltrakis said that a trusted MRO partner is essential, particularly
for the recovering aviation sector, in the aftermath of the pandemic.
