AMMAN — Members of the
Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC)
Board of Director and commercial representative discussed with a Chinese trade
delegation about the private sector’s role in advancing trade cooperation
between both countries.

The
China-Arab States Technology Transfer Center's
delegation represents the Chinese sectors of agriculture, renewable energy,
medical devices, scientific research, construction materials, foodstuffs,
technology, and vehicles, according to a JCC statement released Tuesday,
carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The meeting tackled significant technological developments related to those
sectors and prospects for
China to leverage the Kingdom’s business-friendly
climate, and establish renewable energy investments.
The meeting also discussed cooperation in the
electric vehicle and machine
sector as well as boosting foodstuff exports to China.
JCC vice chairman, Jamal Rifai shared his goals in marketing
Jordanian products in China, highlighting, the East Asian country is the
Kingdom’s third largest commercial partner.
