Jordan, GCC discuss enhancing economic cooperation

AMMAN — Minister of Finance Mohammad Al-Ississ met with  Secretary-General Nayef Al-Hajraf in Washington, to discuss enhancing and developing trade and economic cooperation in certain fields, Al-Mamlaka TV reported. In the discussion, held on the sidelines of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank meetings, Ississ and Hajraf expressed desire for achieving economic cooperation, in accordance with the directives from His Majesty King Abdullah, and the leaders of the GCC countries. They also discussed developments of the joint technical committees, and ways to develop economic goals to serve common interests, in addition to the latest regional and international developments in the economic and financial fields. The two parties have met twice over the past few weeks.
