AMMAN — According to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the Jordan Post Company (JPC) announced in a statement on Monday that two new commemorative stamps will be available to the public on Tuesday.

The JPC’s spokesperson, Zuhair al-Azza, said that the first issue’s theme is “musical instruments,” and each press sheet consists of 10 stamps worth 30 piasters each or JD3 in total, with a JD3.5 first day of issue cover.
The second issue, al-Azza noted, is titled “One Hundred Years Since the First Postage Stamp in the Emirate of Transjordan,” consisting of a JD1 mini-sheet, with a JD1.5 first day of issue cover.
To grab the new issues, stamp collectors and enthusiasts can head to the JPC’s office in Al-Muqablain, or the Capital Post Department’s offices in Jabal Amman, Al-Weibdeh, downtown, Mecca Mall and Abdali, or the Irbid Central Post Office, he added.
