The
exhibition brought together over 40 educational institutions from the region,
including Jordan University of Science and Technology and the Middle East
University from Jordan, as reported by Mamoun Al-Debi'e, the Secretary-General
of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, during an
interview with Petra, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.
Al-Debi'e
stated that more than 5,000 students participated on the first day of the
two-day exhibition. He encouraged Jordanian higher education institutions to
engage more extensively to showcase the "distinguished and
prestigious" Jordanian institutions that have secured places in the top
500 universities worldwide.
He also
highlighted that attending the exhibition provides an excellent opportunity for
school students to explore their university and academic program options. They
can engage with representatives from local and international universities to
discuss their interests and scientific ambitions, getting answers to their
queries. This, in turn, can assist them in determining a study path toward a
successful career.
