In a statement, representative of the foodstuffs sector at the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) and head of the delegation Raed Hamadeh, said that the exhibition is a key platform for showcasing local and international brands in several sectors, and linking them with investors wishing to benefit from these brands by granting partial franchising contracts in their countries.
Hamadeh also highlighted that this event is considered an important opportunity to promote and export local branded products to the region’s markets, in addition to enabling participating Jordanian companies in the food sector to expand their activities inside and outside the Kingdom.
“Private brands in the Middle East and North Africa have rapidly grown, mainly after new shopping behaviors have emerged since the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak,” Hamadeh said.
Bringing in new local brands to the regional and international markets would contribute to enhancing Jordan’s foreign currency reserves, increasing production, and creating more job opportunities locally and abroad, he said.
Hamadeh stressed that the chamber’s keenness to always participate in this well-known and vital exhibition to promote trade opportunities in the Kingdom, build global partnerships and conclude further trade deals.
