AMMAN — Jordan will take part in the 41st edition of
GITEX GLOBAL x Ai,
the world’s biggest technology sourcing and networking exhibition, scheduled to
start October 17 and run to the 21st at the Dubai World Trade Centre,
according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

In a statement Wednesday, representative of the communications and information
technology sector at the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Haitham Al-Rajbeh, said
that the five-day event, which attracts thousands of technology enthusiasts
from around the globe, will focus on artificial intelligence,
5G, cloud
computing,
blockchain,
cybersecurity, big data, quantum computing, immersive
technologies, fintech, and other emerging technologies.
"The event will feature many innovations and support the development of
young talents," Rajbeh said, highlighting the importance of Jordan's
presence in international exhibitions to put local manpower on the global map.
He emphasized that the Kingdom enjoys an attractive and stimulating business
environment that combines smart competencies, infrastructure, supportive
policies, and international agreements, which will push forward possible
ICT-related business opportunities.
"Jordan is one of the most advanced countries in the ICT sector, thereupon
it is qualified to take part in various regional and international events that
will undeniably support investment opportunities and shed light on Jordanian
expertise," Rajbeh said.
