AMMAN — The
Jordanian Businessmen Association, in
collaboration with the
Foreign Ministry and the Investment Ministry, is set to
host the "Eighth Conference of
Jordanian Businessmen and Investors Abroad" in Amman on Saturday.

Hamdi Tabbaa, the president of the association, highlighted that
the two-day event will delve into various pertinent topics. These include an
exploration of the current landscape of
Jordanian investments, an examination
of opportunities and potentials through the lens of
economic modernization, an
analysis of the role played by the Jordanian financial and banking sector in
the country's economy, and an evaluation of investment possibilities within the
Amman Stock Exchange, encompassing both opportunities and challenges, the
Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.
He further emphasized that the conference will also delve
into matters concerning sustainable development across Jordanian governorates.
Additionally, it will touch upon the implications of the fifth generation
(presumably referring to
technology and telecommunications), investment
prospects within the communications and information technology sector, the
significance of entrepreneurship, and its contribution to the localization of
Jordanian investments abroad.
He highlighted that Jordanian investors from Bahrain, United
Arab Emirates, Ukraine, Qatar, China, Turkey, Germany, Kuwait, Oman, Indonesia,
Saudi Arabia, Australia, Lebanon, Italy, and Iraq will converge at this
conference.
