AMMAN — The King Hussein
Cancer Center (KHCC) on Monday signed a cooperation agreement with the
International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

In a press statement, KHCC CEO Asem Mansour said that the
agreement “makes the KHCC the first in the region to be accredited by the
IAEA”.
“We are proud to announce that we have joined an
extraordinary team of IAEA experts and embarked on scientific tasks and
responsibilities in the fields of therapeutic radiology, nuclear medicine,
medical physics, diagnostic radiology and health nutrition” he added.
Through its collaboration with the IAEA, the KHCC has
improved its capabilities through several training programs and workshops.
