AMMAN — Jordan recorded a JD75
million trade surplus with
Qatar in 2022 according to official data released on
Monday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Figures issued by the
Department of Statistics showed that the Jordan-Qatar trade volume last year amounted to
JD149 million, compared to JD116 million in 2021.
The Kingdom's exports to the Gulf nation
reached JD112 million in 2022, compared with JD91 million in 2021.
Jordan's main exports to Qatar are fresh and processed foodstuffs, while its main imports from the Gulf nation include chemicals, plastic, and lubricants.
Meanwhile,
Qatar's exports to the Kingdom reached JD37 million last year, up from JD25 million in 2021.
