AMMAN —
Jordan Phosphate Mines Company said on Wednesday that laborers working at the phosphate port in Aqaba started
loading the Star Gwyneth ship with some 80,800 tonnes of phosphate to export to
the Indian Company Iveco, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.

Al-Rawad said in a press statement that the ship, which docked at the quay on
Tuesday, is the largest phosphate-carrying ship to have dropped anchor in the
port since it was established, and the shipment is the largest in the history
of the company.
Rawad stressed that the loading process is going on at
maximum capacity, and is expected to be completed in record time, which
reflects the efficiency of the port and its workers, and the ability of the
phosphate company to fulfill its obligations on time.
