Hadid said that "the prices are
low at the corporation due to the availability of stocks in the warehouses. We
do not need to buy any goods, in light of the high prices globally due to the
war in
Ukraine.”
As a result, the MCC took the
"decision to purchase goods when the time is right," said Hadid.
He stated that "the
corporation’s stock for normal consumption of basic foodstuffs like sugar, oil,
and rice is sufficient for three to four months”.
For the first time in six years, the
MCC achieved profits in 2021, despite the reductions of the prices of
commodities, according to Hadid.
