Malaysia Expects Trade Volume to Exceed $450 Billion in 2025

Malaysian Trade Minister Zafrul Aziz expects Malaysia's trade volume to surpass $450 billion (equivalent to 2 trillion ringgit) in 2025.

Aziz emphasized that Malaysia will continue to achieve trade growth despite current economic challenges, including the potential slowdown of China's economy and changes in U.S. policies.

According to the German Press Agency (DPA), the minister noted that Malaysia’s trade volume increased by 9.2%, reaching 2.88 trillion ringgit in 2024.
