AMMAN — More than 378,500 families used
the emergency cash transfer programs implemented by the
National Aid Fund (NAF) and
World Bankin 2022 for families of workers affected by the coronavirus pandemic
in Jordan.

According to Al-Mamlaka TV, data shows that as of
December 2022 some 378,500 families had received cash support out of 400,000
families targeted for the project.
The
project covers some 1.79
million individuals, of which 50 percent are women.
The number of workers who benefitted from the wage
subsidy offering of the
program reached 109,327, out of the 110,000 targeted in sectors
hardest hit by the pandemic. Around 47 percent of them were women.
