Preparatory Camp for National Golf Team Players Kicks Off at Ayla Golf Club

The preparatory training camp for the national golf team players kicked off today at the Ayla Golf Club, organized by the Jordanian Golf Federation in collaboration with Ayla.اضافة اعلان
Over the course of two days, the players will participate in various training activities on the Ayla Golf Club course in preparation for the third edition of the Jordanian Golf League for April 2025. This marks an exciting expansion of the sport's player base in the country, fostering greater competition among its practitioners.
The camp is being overseen by the national team’s coach, Iraqi Amr Razi, with the goal of enhancing the competitive level of the participating players ahead of upcoming local and international tournaments.
The Jordanian Golf Federation and Ayla intend to make this training camp a regular event before the league rounds held throughout 2025.
Kareem Al-Barghouthi, President of the Jordanian Golf Federation, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Ayla Golf Club team and the Ayla family in hosting the training camp, creating the best conditions for training. These efforts are part of their mission to promote Jordanian golf and to kick off the promising new season of the Jordanian Golf League.
Al-Barghouthi also announced that the preparatory camp is designed to set the stage for the new season of the 2025 Jordanian Golf League. The Federation is aiming to qualify a number of national team players for the Arab Championship, which will be held in Cairo in May. 12 players will participate, with 6 of them qualifying for the Arab Championship.
Meanwhile, Mansour Al-Kabareti, Director of Public Relations at Ayla Oasis Development, stated that the training camp is a product of the fruitful strategic partnership between Ayla and the Golf Federation. Ayla believes in supporting efforts to introduce the sport to new generations of promising talent, while also preparing the national team for international competitions.
Al-Kabareti expressed Ayla's eagerness to continue executing its sports events agenda for this year, which includes more major events. The goal is to enhance participation from new golf enthusiasts across various age groups and help elevate their individual skills.

The course spans approximately 800,000 square meters of green space, incorporating sustainable environmental practices, and harmonizing with the unique environment of Ayla, including beaches and natural landscapes. The club also boasts a dedicated academy for training and hosting camps, complete with a 9-hole course and qualified coaches from the Professional Golfers' Association.
