According to Decision No. 13 of 2025, the ministry will collect a fixed fee of 1,450 dinars for each exported truckload of live local sheep, in accordance with paragraph (b) of Article 6 of the Import and Export Law No. 21 of 2001.
The decision also keeps the subsidized bran price for sheep breeders unchanged at 77 dinars per ton, based on records from the Ministry of Agriculture. However, the selling price of bran for other livestock breeders—including cattle, poultry, camels, and horses—has been set at 154 dinars per ton, as per the ministry’s regulations, inclusive of sales tax.
The ministry has instructed the relevant authorities to implement this decision starting from the first of this month for a duration of one month.
