AMMAN —
Randa Al-Sadiq has assumed her position as Executive General Manager of
the
Arab Bank as of February 1, succeeding Naama Sabbagh, who was retired upon
his request, according to Ad-Dustour news.

Sadiq joined
the Arab Bank in July 2010, where she served deputy executive general manager of
the bank.
Sadiq has
more than 36 years of banking experience, during which she worked at the
National Bank of Kuwait for 24 years, where she held several positions, the
last of which was general manager of the International Banking Group.
She holds a
Master's degree in Banking and Finance from the
American University of Beirut.
Sabih
Al-Masry, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Bank, affirmed that choosing
-Sadiq as executive general manager reflects the confidence of the Board of
Directors in her competence and ability to lead the Arab Bank's executive
management team and to proceed with leading the Bank's success and progress
towards achieving its vision on the local and regional levels.
Sadiq was
ranked by
Forbes Middle East magazine as one of the "Most Powerful Arab
Women in 2015", and among the "100 Most Powerful Women in Business
Management” in 2016.
