AMMAN —
Jordan's real estate trade volume reached
JD1.414 billion in the first quarter of 2022, an increase of 37 percent compared
to the figure reported in the first quarter of 2021, according to the Jordan
News Agency, Petra.

According to the
Department of Land and Survey’s (DLS)
monthly report issued on Wednesday, the state's revenue from the real estate
market stood at JD63.1 million in the same period of 2022, up by 48 percent
from 2021.
Overall real estate sales in the Kingdom picked up by
2 percent compared to 2021, while apartment sales rose by 13 percent and land
sales inched up by 1 percent.
On a monthly level, the trade volume in the Jordanian
real estate market in March increased by 90 percent, amounting to JD679 million
compared to the same month of 2021.
State revenue in March recorded a 90 percent increase,
reaching JD44.3 million compared to the same month of 2021.
