AMMAN — Jordan’s real estate trade volume
rose by 24 percent in the January–September period of 2022, reaching JD4.353
billion, compared to the figure reported in the same period of 2021, according
to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The Department of Land and Survey said on Tuesday
that the revenue from the real estate market stood at JD199.6 million in the
January-September period of 2022, a 38-percent increase over the figure
reported in 2021.
Overall, real estate sales in the Kingdom dropped by
8 percent in the January–September period of 2022, apartment sales also
declined by 3 percent, while land sales decreased by 9 percent compared to
2021.
On a monthly level, the trade volume in the
Jordanian real estate market went up in September 2022 by 22 percent, amounting
to JD529 million compared to the same month of 2021.
Meanwhile, revenue in September 2022 recorded a
31-percent rise, reaching JD24.2 million, compared with the same month of 2021.
