AMMAN —
Revenues for
Royal Jordanian Airlines increased by JD49 million in the first
quarter of this year, compared to the same period in the previous year,
according to Al-Mamlaka TV.

The financial
statements of Royal Jordanian showed a clear improvement in revenues during the
first quarter of the year at a growth rate of 226 percent.
The number of
passengers in the first quarter of this year increased by 364 percent to reach
577,000 at the end of the first quarter of 2022, compared to 124,000 for the
same period in the previous year.
The number of
take-offs also increased by 194 percent to 6,115 flights in the first quarter
of 2022, compared to 2,081 flights in the first quarter of 2021.
