AMMAN — The Social Security Corporation (SSC) has recently received four good practice international awards from the International Social Security Association (ISSA), for providing optimal service towards a comprehensive social security system, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

In a statement on Sunday, the SSC announced it received four awards for its “Care” program for maternity services, Estidama (sustainability) program which targeted hard-hit sectors, switching to online services, and establishing a digital branch.
The ISSA is the world’s leading international organization for social security institutions, government departments, and agencies. It promotes excellence in social security administration through professional guidelines, expert knowledge, services and support to enable its members to develop dynamic social security systems and policy throughout the world.
The ISSA was founded in 1927 under the auspices of the International Labor Organization, and today has over 320 member institutions from over 160 countries.
