Significant Drop in Major U.S. Stock Indices

U.S. stock indices saw a substantial decline last night, ending the week with significant losses.

The NASDAQ, which focuses on heavy technology stocks, also fell by 438 points, reaching 19,524 points, marking a decline of 2.2%.

The S&P 500 dropped by more than 100 points, reaching 6,013 points, a decrease of 1.71%.

Additionally, West Texas crude oil prices fell by over two dollars, dropping to $70.25 per barrel.

The indices also experienced substantial weekly losses, with the Dow Jones losing 1,155 points, and the NASDAQ falling by 566 points. The S&P 500 declined by nearly 100 points by the end of the week.
