AMMAN — Minister of Energy
and Mineral Resources
Saleh Al-Kharabsheh said that it signed a memorandum of
understanding with a company to establish a hydrogen generation plant for
alternative energy.

In an interview with Hala News,
Kharabsheh said that the private company will complete the feasibility studies,
including choosing the appropriate location for the factory.
He pointed out that technical and
financial studies need two years to complete and the location of the solar
power plant and the details related to the project will be determined
accordingly.
Chairman of the
Lower House Economy and Investment Committee Khair Abu Sailek confirmed that Jordan is considering
the establishment of a hydrogen-generating plant.
