The National Arab Motors Company – Kia Jordan Signs Memorandum of Understanding to Establish an Electric Vehicle Training Workshop at The Theodor Schneller Institute

In a step aimed at developing the vocational education sector and
enhancing technical skills in the field of electric vehicles, the National Arab
Motors Company – Kia Jordan announced the signing of a memorandum of
understanding with The Theodor Schneller Institute.
The signing ceremony was attended by Amer Bajali, the managing
director of the National Arab Motors Company – Kia Jordan, and Reverend Dr.
Khaled Freij, Director of The Theodor Schneller Institute.
The memorandum aims to establish a specialized training workshop in
electric vehicles at The Theodor Schneller Institute, with the goal of training
and qualifying students using the latest technologies.
Amer Bajali expressed his pride in this collaboration, which will
contribute to qualifying local expertise in the field of electric vehicles, a
leading global industry. He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to providing
all necessary equipment and resources, equipping the workshop with the latest
electric vehicle technologies. Bajali also emphasized that the Alayyan Group is

initiatives that contribute to the development and empowerment of local

For his part, Reverend Dr. Khaled Freij stressed the importance of
this partnership in developing vocational education. He noted that the school
would provide the necessary support to ensure the success of this project by
allocating suitable space for the workshop and promoting training programs in
coordination with the company.
This memorandum comes in response to the vision of His Majesty King
Abdullah II, emphasizing the importance of strengthening partnerships between

vital sectors in the Kingdom.
The project has also been closely followed by Prime Minister Dr.
Jaafar Hassan, who, during a visit to The Theodor Schneller Institute on
October 28 of last year (2024), accompanied by the Minister of Education,
reviewed the school’s programs and needs. The visit included plans for
establishing a specialized vocational training workshop in electric vehicle
maintenance.
This collaboration between the National Arab Motors Company – Kia
Jordan and The Theodor Schneller Institute represents a model for translating
