AMMAN — Financial data for three
energy companies listed on the
Amman Stock Exchange showed a 48 percent
increase in sales during the first half of 2022 compared to the same period
last year, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

The companies recorded sales with a total value of JD1.379 billion in the
first six months of this year, compared to JD934 million in the same period
last year, an increase of JD445 million.
Total profits of the three companies increased by 103 percent in the first
half of 2022 to a record JD193 million.
Net profits, after deducting taxes and expenses jumped by 148 percent for
the same period to reach about JD99 million.
The
companies are: the Jordan Petroleum Refinery, Afaq Energy, and the National
Petroleum Company.
