AMMAN — United Arab Emirates Ambassador to Jordan, Sheikh
Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, expressed on Saturday that the UAE
and Jordan share a mutual vision for future economic and investment
integration.

The ambassador, who also holds the position of honorary
president of the Jordanian-Emirati Businessmen Council, made these remarks
during a ceremony held in Abu Dhabi. The event commemorated the 77th
anniversary of Jordan's independence as well as the marriage of HRH Crown
Prince Hussein, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.
The ceremony, attended by a number of Jordanian and Emirati
investors in the UAE, comprised of many esteemed guests, including President
Faisal Fayez. Nahyan emphasized the deep-rooted relations between the UAE and
Jordan in various domains.
He highlighted both countries' strong desire to strengthen
and build upon these ties, aiming to serve their shared interests and bolster
cooperation.
During the ceremony, Fayez, in his capacity as Senate
President, presented honors to several Emirati and Jordanian businessmen and
investors. He also acknowledged the contributions of several officials and
diplomats in the UAE who played a pivotal role in shaping the course of
relations between the two brotherly nations.
In press statements, Fayez praised the exceptional level of
Jordanian-Emirati relations and expressed gratitude to the UAE for its
continuous support and attention towards Jordanians residing in the Arab Gulf
country.
