AMMAN — Finance Minister Mohamad
Al-Ississ stressed the importance of reducing social security subscription
rates according to the amendments to the Social Security Law during a
parliamentary session on Wednesday.

In the same session, Ississ
highlighted the need to deal with unemployment in Jordan using modern means to
alleviate the country's employment crisis.
Biggest challengeIssiss explained that reducing
social security subscription rates would encourage private sector companies to
hire more, resulting in a decrease in unemployment rates throughout the
Kingdom. He added that the country's biggest challenge is unemployment,
particularly among young people.
