Vegetable and Fruit Prices in the Central Market on Wednesday

The quantities of vegetables, fruits, and leafy greens received at the Central Wholesale Market, managed by the Greater Amman Municipality, today, Wednesday, totaled 2,666 tons. This included 2,050 tons of vegetables, 402 tons of fruits, and 214 tons of leafy greens.اضافة اعلان

According to a report from the Jordan News Agency (Petra) on the market's bulletin and price list for the incoming items, based on the lowest and highest price per kilogram, the prices ranged as follows:

Black eggplant: 15 to 25 piasters
Dry onions: 15 to 20 piasters
Potatoes: 20 to 30 piasters
Tomatoes: 8 to 15 piasters
Carrots: 20 to 50 piasters
Cucumbers: 30 to 50 piasters
Cauliflower: 15 to 30 piasters
Lemons: 25 to 50 piasters
Local bananas: 50 to 75 piasters (Petra).
