AMMAN — The World Association of News Publishers
(WAN-IFRA) is set to hold the Middle Eastern Media Leaders eSummit on March
15–17, under the theme “embracing disruption”, the organization said in a press

This third edition of the summit will address the future of news and how artificial intelligence might change the future of journalism, according to the event’s website. Different reader revenue models, like dynamic paywalls and membership-based paywalls, as well as what is needed to set up successful reader revenue strategies will also be discussed.
Speakers at the event include Gaurav Sachdeva, who will discuss understanding audience trends and habits to help inform one’s product portfolio; Sam Guzik, will explore how the future of news may unfold; Adrian Lee, on how to build a subscription service; Elin Stueland, who will share their story about how a robot is helping Schibsted’s Stavanger Aftenblad drive engagement and subscriptions; and Clemence Lemaistre, who will discuss finding entirely new audiences.
