AMMAN — Twenty thousand people have participated
in Jordan’s tourism program, Urdunna Jannah, a month after its launch,
according to a statement by the
Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

The program, which is subsidized by the ministry,
is operating 747 buses with the same number of tour guides.
The ministry is covering more than 50 percent of
the cost of the tours, which are organized by
tourism offices in Jordan.
The Urdunna Jannah program runs day tours as
well as overnight tours in various destinations across the Kingdom.
