He told Al Mamlaka TV that the "Jordan Our Heaven 2025" program offers diverse and newly designed itineraries, targeting 100 tourist attractions across Jordan.
On Thursday, the first trips of the "Jordan Our Heaven 2025" edition were launched after the program had been temporarily suspended in December 2024.
The program’s official website now lists new experiences under the "Jordan Our Heaven 2025" label, which include local community experiences, nature-focused trips, religious and cultural sites, and special events.
On Sunday, the Cabinet approved a decision to cover the full cost of trips organized under the "Jordan Our Heaven" program until December 13, 2025. Additionally, Jordanian citizens are exempt from entrance fees to archaeological sites, and participants with disabilities are exempted from the travel costs.
This decision aims to boost and revitalize domestic tourism, encouraging citizens to visit dozens of destinations across Jordan through the program, which offers a variety of tourism patterns, unique experiences, supports local communities, and strengthens the tourism sector.
The program provides free transportation through modern, fully equipped tourist buses departing from all governorates to the listed destinations, organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. Each bus is accompanied by a professional tour guide, and meals are also provided.
"Jordan Our Heaven" achieved remarkable success in 2024, attracting 311,000 participants, reflecting the growing popularity of domestic tourism and the citizens' trust in the program as a distinguished and subsidized travel option.
Launched in May 2019 by the Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with the Jordan Tourism Board, the program has continued to develop and expand its offerings, with the exception of the COVID-19 pandemic period.
