The people of Ajloun believe that the football stadium, located among the forests, is a magnificent natural artistic masterpiece that needs more attention in order to continue achieving the goals for which it was built.

The Ajloun Stadium hosts several official matches, but it cannot host others due to the lack of important facilities, such as seating areas, sanitary facilities, and changing rooms for the players.

Sports enthusiasts in Ajloun hope that the Ministry of Youth will fulfill its promises to build the seating areas and changing rooms this year, so that the stadium can become a destination for the governorate's football clubs, such as Kafrnenja, Ajloun, Anjara, and Abin, which participate in football tournaments.

Mundhir Al-Zghoul, a member of the Decentralization Council in Ajloun, confirmed that the people of the governorate are eagerly awaiting the completion of the seating and changing rooms at the stadium to host all the matches. He said in an interview with the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the stadium is a wonderful natural masterpiece deserving more attention, especially since it is the only place where the people of Ajloun can practice football and walking. Al-Zghoul pointed out that Minister of Youth Yazan Shdeifat recently promised to complete the construction of the seating and changing rooms, which is something they hope will happen soon.

For his part, the president of Ajloun Club, Rajai Al-Samadi, confirmed that the stadium could host matches for the clubs if its facilities were completed. He added, “Everyone who visits the stadium is amazed by its beauty, as it is a natural artistic masterpiece, and therefore it should be fully utilized.”

Al-Samadi mentioned that the stadium had previously hosted matches for youth teams, as well as first division women’s league matches, which means it is capable of hosting all matches once the seating and changing rooms are completed.

Goalkeeper coach Khaled Sultan, who has visited the stadium several times, confirmed that the stadium could become a venue for major matches if the Ministry of Youth completes the construction of the seating and sanitary facilities. He added, “I visited the stadium with athletes from Saudi Arabia, and the visitors were impressed by its beauty, noting that the stadium resembles European stadiums due to its wonderful location.”

Sultan hopes that the stadium’s construction will be completed so that it can be ready to host training sessions and matches for Arab teams visiting Jordan.

Coach Mohammed Youssef considered Ajloun Stadium to be an artistic masterpiece, due to its location amidst beautiful forests, where people come to enjoy walking in ideal conditions. He hopes that the stadium will soon be ready to host matches for the teams of Ajloun, Kafrnenja, Abin, and Anjara, which play in the second and third divisions.

Citizen Mohammad Al-Qudah stated that he always enjoys walking around the stadium because of the perfect and wonderful atmosphere, pointing out that anyone who visits the area is impressed by the beauty of the location and the stadium.

It is worth mentioning that the Minister of Youth, Yazan Shdeifat, promised during a televised interview about three weeks ago that the construction of the stadium’s facilities would be completed soon. A tender has been issued to begin building the seating areas and changing rooms.
