Ajloun shops see spike in traffic ahead of holiday

Markets in Ajloun Governorate have seen increased traffic as Eid Al-Fitr approaches, officials recently announced.

A number of traders and shop owners have told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that they are relying heavily on eid to increase profits and compensate for the past year.اضافة اعلان

Vice president of the Ajloun Chamber of Commerce, Mohammed Al-Baoul said that consumers are buying more as Ramadan comes to a close, specifically clothing and eid supplies. In turn, Ajloun Governor Salman Al-Najada, chairman of the public health and Safety Committee, confirmed that the committee has carried out intensive control campaigns on markets and shops to ensure compliance with set prices as well as health measures to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
