He also inspected the "Wadi Rum Village Expansion," which includes the opening of roads and the implementation of infrastructure works such as electricity, water, and lighting networks. This comes after the distribution of the second phase of land plots to eligible individuals, numbering 298 plots.
Additionally, he visited the "Completion of the Rainwater Drainage Channel in Rum Village," which extends for 1,500 meters, designed to protect the current village and the new expansion from the risk of floods. He also visited the new Rum Village Services Center, directing the provision of all necessary equipment and facilities to offer municipal services to citizens, ensure cleanliness, and ease licensing processes and electricity connections to alleviate the burden on citizens and provide services without the need to visit the Authority or other departments.
Al-Fayez met with several local residents, listened to their demands and feedback, and they, in turn, praised the Authority's efforts to develop Rum Village and improve the quality of services provided to them.
