Amman youth centers carry out classes, advocacy events

AMMAN — Amman Governorate’s Youth Directorate released a statement on Wednesday outlining recent events and activities it has carried out.اضافة اعلان

The statement focused on a particular event that included 25 young women from the Marka Young Women Center that were involved in the Our Center is Our Culture, which included a mural of roses, in addition to volunteer work. 

Another center, the Capital’s Young Women Center held an initiative called “Our life with you is more beautiful” to support those with Down syndrome, and the Qweismeh Young Women Center, implemented a “crochet art” course, which lasted for a week, and included 20 participants.

Generations For Peace, in cooperation with the Capital Youth Center, also held an advocacy event to support those with Down syndrome, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
