Amman — On Monday, the
Royal Department for Environmental Protection and Tourism, in cooperation with the Community Police Directorate, carried out a public environmental clean-up campaign in the
Barqash Forest tourist area as part of the "Our Environment.. our Environment .. Our Lung" campaign launched by the Public Security Directorate.

The campaign, in which cadres from civil defense, official departments and NGOs took part, included the removal of waste from the areas of the targeted forest lands to maintain its aesthetics and factors that attract visitors.
The acting director of West Irbid Police, Colonel Hisham Al-Abadi, said that the campaign aims to enhance environmental awareness and protect forest wealth, stressing the importance of public hygiene and environmental preservation campaigns as a sustainable approach in daily behavior.
