AQABA — On Tuesday,
Aqaba University of Technology and Al Shamal
Charity Association signed a memorandum of understanding to
provide scholarships and discounts of up to 50 percent on approved tuition fees
to the association member’s children who have passed the general secondary
education examination (Tawjihi) and college students who wish to study at the
university for the year 2022-2021, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The President of the University, Mohammad Abu Darwish has
indicated that there are 30 seats for these grants, which will be distributed
among the university's specific specialties in pharmaceutical science,
architecture engineering, civil engineering, artificial intelligence, software
engineering, physiotherapy, medical and radiation imaging, business
administration, education, and public safety.
In turn, the president of the association, Dr. Amar Samadi,
praised this fruitful collaboration, which is a special opportunity for
students wishing to study at the university.
The university is considered one
of the most prestigious universities, as it draws hundreds of students each
year from the governorates of the Kingdom and neighboring countries.
