AMMAN — Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority
(ASEZA) Chief Commissioner Nayef Al-Bakhit announced on Monday that measures
will be taken to open all of Aqaba’s sectors after Eid-Al Fitr, the Jordan News
Agency, Petra, reported.

The economic, commercial, and touristic measures will be
implemented provided the city’s populace registers on the national COVID-19
vaccination platform, Bakhit said.
By registering, the southern city will be able to reopen
and ease curfew restrictions, particularly the Friday lockdowns, after the holy
month of Ramadan, the ASEZA chief stated.
