The Jordanian field hospital in the
Gaza Strip Saturday launched a blood donation campaign to secure enough quantities of blood amid shortages in Gaza hospitals caused by rising casualties from the ongoing Israeli bombardment, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

“The campaign, undertaken by the hospital’s crews, is part of Jordan’s continued support to the Palestinian brothers in Gaza in view of the difficult circumstances they are experiencing,” said the military hospital’s commander Col. Fares Huneiti.
He said that the medical facility’s management has been in contact with the various hospitals in Gaza “in order to stand by them in their plight and the difficult situation they are facing.” At least have been 139 Palestinians killed and more than 1,000 injured in the coastal enclave.
