Book fair turnout exceeds expectations

AMMAN — The services and consulting sector representative at the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Jamal Al-Rifai, said that the Amman International Book Fair is a cultural and national event that supports the publishing sector in Jordan and the region.اضافة اعلان

His comments came during a recent visit to the exhibition and a meeting with the director of the Amman International Book Fair, Jaber Abu Fares.

He added that turnout at the exhibition exceeded expectations, thanks to the efforts made by the exhibition's various committees in terms of precautionary and organizational measures.

For his part, Abu Fares expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Jordan Chamber of Commerce for their cooperation, as well as to representatives of the services and consulting sector, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

He said that the success of the Amman International Book Fair in terms of organization and turnout is a success for all sectors operating in the Kingdom, noting that the book fair has become an essential part of the arts scene.
