Scattered clouds will appear at various altitudes, and there is a chance of light rain showers in the northern parts of the Kingdom and limited areas in the central-western regions during the afternoon hours. Winds will be moderate southwesterlies.

The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) warns of reduced horizontal visibility in the early morning due to fog formation, particularly over mountainous areas, and the risk of frost formation in high-altitude southern mountainous areas and the southern desert.

On Wednesday, cold weather will continue in most regions, with clouds appearing at different altitudes. In the afternoon, the Kingdom will gradually be affected by an unstable weather condition, bringing increased cloud cover and rainfall, with occasional thunderstorms and hail in the north and center, extending later to parts of the southwestern and eastern regions. Winds will be moderate northwesterlies, occasionally becoming active.

Thursday’s weather will be cold and partly cloudy in most areas, with a chance of scattered light rain in the north during the morning. Winds will be moderate to active northwesterlies, with strong gusts reaching up to 60 km/h, stirring dust, particularly in desert areas.

On Friday, temperatures will rise slightly, with cold weather persisting in most areas and relatively cold conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Some clouds will appear at different altitudes, and winds will be moderate easterlies, occasionally becoming active.

The expected maximum and minimum temperatures on Wednesday are as follows: Eastern Amman 12-5C, Western Amman 10-3C, northern highlands 8-2C, Sharah Mountains 9-0C, desert regions 16-3C, Dead Sea 21-11C, and Aqaba 22-10C.
