AMMAN— The Governor of Irbid Radwan
Al-Atoum, oversaw the implementation of the clean-up campaign on Tuesday, for a
site in the forest of Barqash that was subjected to random
waste dumping,
according to Petra.

Al-Atoum was accompanied by the directors of
environment, agriculture, and public works of the governorate and the chairman
of the municipal committee of Barqash to oversee the campaign to clean up the
site, stressing that the preservation of the forest aesthetic was a shared
responsibility requiring the cooperation of various local and official
institutions and individuals there.
Al-Atoum confirmed that the participation of
various officials and civil authorities in the comprehensive clean-up campaign
will be announced and launched by the Ministry of Local Administration next
Saturday in various regions of the Kingdom.
The comprehensive campaign will be titled
"With Our Help," or “Bisawaadina” in Arabic and was launched in the
Irbid governorate from the Civil Defense Center building in Barqash.
