AMMAN — According to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the Hashemite University, and the Ministry of Culture are collaborating to hold an international conference next month regarding the world’s image of Jordan from the last 100 years.

According to a press statement released on Wednesday, the president of the University, and the head of the conference, Fawaz Abdulhaq Al-Zboun, said that the organization of the meeting was among celebrations of the Kingdom in general and the Hashemite University celebrations of Jordan’s centenary.
The conference aims to highlight Jordan’s image through its organizations and institutions in the political, economic, social, heritage, cultural, and other fields.
He added that this conference, which will take place on November 2, would be unique and comprehensive in terms of international, Arab, local, and regional dimensions and its global elite participation.
Zboun indicated that the participants in the conference would be focused on 13 main topics, each of which would deal with topics and issues vital to the Jordanian State, the Royal family, and the successful image created by Jordan and its Hashemite leaders in all parts of the world over the course the last century.
