AMMAN — The Royal Cultural Center held a seminar on "Society's Culture
and its Role in the Spread of Political Parties" as part of a dialogue
program on Monday.

During
the seminar, former minister Majham Al-Khraisha spoke about the establishment
of the Jordanian state and the first government’s
political party, the
Independence Party.
He talked about the political period during
the 1940s and 1950s, which witnessed the emergence of many ideological parties.
He also touched on the return of democracy,
the lifting of martial law, and the establishment of parties in 1991.
A dialogue and discussion took place after the
seminar about Jordan’s political experience over the 100 years of the state's
life.
