Singh mentioned that tourism and hospitality are among the largest service industries in India and play a vital role in driving progress. They serve as a catalyst for infrastructure growth, including world-class hotels, resorts, excellent restaurants, efficient transportation networks, and modern healthcare facilities.

He added, “Today’s meeting highlights the tourism potential of the state of Madhya Pradesh, known as the 'Heart of India,' which is a treasure trove of historical, cultural, natural wonders, and geographical diversity, along with specialized tourism offerings such as adventure tourism and wildlife tourism.”

For his part, the Chairman of the Jordanian Association of Travel Agents, Talal Al-Majali, emphasized that Jordan and India have a long history of friendship and cooperation, both rich in cultural, tourism, and historical heritage. He noted the great potential for increasing tourism between the two countries.

During the meeting, a film was shown about the state of Madhya Pradesh, one of India’s top tourist destinations, which includes important historical sites like Khajuraho, Sanchi, and Bhimbetka, all UNESCO World Heritage Sites, making it a key destination for history and culture enthusiasts.
