Environment Ministry launches workshops

AMMAN — The Jordan Environment Society, in cooperation with several associations, has launched a number voluntary initiatives since the beginning of the year to ease the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and raise environmental awareness, Maen Nasairah, executive director of the society, said on Monday. اضافة اعلان


The society in January and February, through social media, launched voluntary initiatives, including workshops and awareness and training courses, taking into consideration health procedures and social distancing, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Nasairah added that the society is moving on with its campaigns to distribute sanitizers, gloves, and facemasks to raise awareness of the pandemic’s repercussions on the community.
