Al-Sharaf has made a career of livestock vaccination for
more than 15 years, enabling her to support her family. She said that she has
been able to vaccinate about a thousand sheep in a single day, and has
therefore become one of the most desirable people for livestock breeders in
Mafraq Governorate, due to her speed and efficiency, according to Petra.
Head of the agriculture directorate in Mafraq, Imad
AlAyasrah, honored Al-sharaf and her achievement on Monday, during a ceremony
marking Jordan’s centenary, Petra reported.
Al-Sharaf called on Mafraq’s women to enrol in courses on
vaccinating livestock, as a good means of securing stable income.
