Forest protection efforts intensified during holiday

Ajloun Directorate of Agriculture has exerted efforts throughout Eid Al-Fitr holiday to preserve the governorate’s forests and reduce attacks against it, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. اضافة اعلان

Hussein Al-Khalidi, Ajloun’s director of Agriculture, said that the directorate, through its plan developed for the holiday, intensified patrols and presence of field cadres in order to protect forests and prevent encroachments on them, such as fires.

He pointed out that the operations room in the directorate worked to conduct patrols in areas where there is a picnic movement and urged visitors and tourists using loudspeakers to keep these places clean and not leave fires burning, according to Petra.
